• Account Information: When a clinic signs up, we collect the clinic name, doctor name, email address, and phone number.
• Patient Data: Clinics using Medegrow store patient information on our platform including names, phone numbers, email addresses, appointment history, and medical notes. This data belongs to the clinic and is processed by us on their behalf.
• WhatsApp Communication Data: When clinics use our WhatsApp integration, we process message content, phone numbers, and message delivery status through the Meta WhatsApp Business API.
• Usage Data: We collect information about how you use our platform including login times, pages visited, and features used.
• Payment Information: Billing and subscription payments are processed through Razorpay. We do not store your card or banking details on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Medegrow CRM platform
• Send WhatsApp messages and appointment reminders on behalf of clinics
• Process subscription payments
• Send transactional emails about your account
• Improve our platform and fix technical issues
• Comply with legal obligations

4. WhatsApp and Meta Integration

Medegrow integrates with the Meta WhatsApp Business API. When clinics connect their WhatsApp Business Account to Medegrow:

• Patient messages are received and stored securely on our platform
• Automated messages are sent on behalf of the clinic using pre-approved templates
• All WhatsApp communication follows Meta's Business Messaging Policy
• Patient phone numbers are used only to communicate on behalf of the connected clinic

Patients can opt out of WhatsApp messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.

5. Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase / PostgreSQL)
• Each clinic's data is isolated — no clinic can access another clinic's patient data
• Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
• Access tokens and sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest
• We perform regular security reviews of our infrastructure

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We share data only with:

• Meta Platforms: To deliver WhatsApp messages via the WhatsApp Business API
• Supabase: Cloud database infrastructure for data storage
• Razorpay: Payment processing for subscriptions
• Vercel / Railway: Cloud hosting infrastructure
• Resend: Transactional email delivery

All third-party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

7. Patient Rights (for clinic patients)

If you are a patient whose data has been stored by a clinic using Medegrow, you have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of WhatsApp communications by replying STOP

8. Data Retention

• Clinic account data is retained for the duration of the subscription and 90 days after cancellation
• Patient records are retained as long as the clinic's account is active
• Message history is retained for 12 months
• You may request deletion of your data at any time

Our platform uses essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser but this may affect platform functionality.

10. Children's Privacy

Medegrow is a B2B platform intended for use by medical clinics and healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years of age.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered clinic accounts of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
